Egyesek, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, recently took a bold step by purchasing its own property in Szécsény, a town in Nógrád County, to create a youth center for local young people. Renovation of the house has already begun, but to complete it, your help is also needed!
Over the past quarter century, the Association has done a great deal for youth - mainly through non-formal education and community building. This new youth center marks another milestone, offering a space where young people from Szécsény can regularly meet, learn, and create together in an inspiring environment.
As a volunteer, I have been connected with Egyesek for more than ten years, and now, through this fundraising campaign I have personally launched, I would like to contribute to their work. Please support the Association’s youth support activities as much as you can!
Why Egyesek needs public fundraising in Hungary?
Egyesek operates as an independent NGO and cannot rely on meaningful support from the government, which provides very limited funding for organizations promoting independent civic engagement, youth empowerment, or non-formal education. Public fundraising is therefore essential for Egyesek to continue its social impact, and realize projects like the Szécsény youth house.
