History
Cycle of training for facilitators
We piloted and launched the Egyesek Training for Facilitators cycle. Each year we provide a 3-steps long-term training course for praticipants who wants to make an impact on young people in the future. Gathering the participants completed the full cycle Egyesek launched the Trainers’ Hub offering a platform where they can further contribute to the youth sector.
Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation
We have successfully obtained the Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation which allows us to implement our training strategy seamlessly.
Award of Excellence for Changemaker training course
Changemaker Erasmus+ project has been awarded by the Hungarian National Agency as best practice for youth workers’ development in group context.
Egyesek becomes full member of the Alliance
The General Assembly of the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations decided to accept our candidacy to be full member of the network.
Egyesek is in the CCIVS Executive Committee
CCIVS member has voted for Egyesek to be the Vice-President for Europe within the CCIVS network. Egyesek ha actively contributed to the global network until the end of 2021.
EVS expands to Nógrád county
First EVS hosting project in Nógrád county and the year which marks the start of our continuous youth work activities in the region.
Egyesek becomes full member of CCIVS
Egyesek is joining to the Global IVS network: Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service.
First workcamp
Our first international voluntary camp within Alliance with the involvement of 25 international volunteers from all over the world. First time we welcomed volunteers even from America and Asia. Also first time to implement a 3-weeks long summer camp in 3 different villages for more than 300 children and youth.
KEKSz programme won a prize
The KEKSz (Creativity – Action – Community building – Service) programme and its leader Ágnes Pleskó has been awarded on the 1st European Youth Work Convention in Belgium.
Creative Space
Creative Space has been born and Egyesek celebrated its launch with a short-term group EVS project.
First EVSers
Very first EVS project of Egyesek where we welcomed Lina and Serhat. They were contirbuting to the work in the KEKSz community service programme.
3+ project
In the the 3+ project we have developed more than 50 Hungarian NGO by providing a long-term organisational development process and 3 synergy trainings in Hungarian language.
EVS accreditation
We obtained our EVS (European Voluntary Service) accreditation and we started to send EVS volunteers abroad
Egyesek is official
6th of April is the official date of establishing Egyesek Youth Association
First written memory
The first written memory of the existence of Egyesek. At this time as an informal group called Experimental Youth Group.
Mission
The aim of our activities is that – we, young people – explore our own strengths and resources using them consciously to fulfill our personal and professional life. To reach that we do trainings and volunteer activities.
What can we do?
We enable active young people, informal groups, NGOs and social enterprises to write their own projects and grant applications.
We are doing grass-root outreach youth work in Nógrád county as well running our own youth community center in Szécsény.
We are supporting local communities based on our own experiences by transforming their passion into the way to make the change happen.
20+ years experience in writing multiple grants and the related project management. Both organisational and project-level we are ready to give high-quality support.
We are offering IT tools connected to the project management. Complete organisational solutions for NGOs and informal groups.
We participate in writing youth-related researches, publications and articles.
Tested and high quality activities for civil or business groups in order to build community.
We are using different kinds of methods for impact measurement while implementing our youth work activities. We are ready to support other NGOs to do the same.
Most of our programmes consists coaching methodologies. The senior staff of Egyesek is ready to deliver individual or group coaching sessions.
