We are looking for enthusiastic young people who would like to try their hand at leading a group in one of Egyesek's youth exchanges.
Youth exchanges...?
Youth exchanges are 10 to 12-day-long activities where young people from 6-8 countries come together to learn about each other, different cultures, teamwork, communication and a variety of topics and challenges in an international community that can lead to long-lasting friendships and life-changing moments.
This call is for groupleaders of EuroDance, a new youth exchange of Egyesek, focusing on experience reconnecting with yourself and others through movement and dance. The youth exchange will take place in Hollókő, Hungary, from the 19th to the 29th of May, 2026.
Leading a group...?
Our youth exchanges involve 4 young people (aged 16-23) and 1 groupleader from each country. The groupleader works with the organisers before, during and after the exchange to ensure that the participants have the most special experience possible.
Before the youth exchange, a Preparatory Visit takes place in person, where the groupleaders and organisers meet in Hollókő to get to know the location and each other. They learn more about the program and the art of leading groups. For EuroDance, this Preparatory Visit will be organised between the 6th and 8th of March, 2026.
During the youth exchange, the groupleader is the safe point for their national team. You can practice how to create a safe and brave environment for other young people in a supportive role, empower them to solve their own problems and deal with all the different experiences. You can also practice the art of conversation and reflection almost every day - you can lead small reflection groups during the programme.
After the youth exchange, you are welcome to bring together your national group once again, help them reflect on the youth exchange and draw lessons from it.

This call is for you, if you...
- are between 18-30 years old,
- have a good level of English,
- have been on an Erasmus+ program before,
- like the topic of the youth exchange, which is dance and movement,
- are available to join in Hollókő the Preparatory Visit (6-8 March) and the youth exchange (19-29 May),
- and would like to help young people to integrate, communicate and learn.

Application process
- Read the call and the Infopack of the youth exchange carefully.
- Fill out the application form by the 12th of February.
- Wait for our colleagues to contact you, and join a short call to meet with an organiser of the youth exchange.
