Seeds of Solidarity 4.0 is a long-term ESC volunteering project in Szécsény, Hungary, where you’ll join an international team of eight volunteers to support children and youth with fewer opportunities through non-formal education and community-based activities.
About the project
Seeds of Solidarity is a European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project taking place in Nógrád county.
As a volunteer, you will work in schools, youth centers, and community spaces, supporting children and young people through non-formal education and creative activities.
Both international and Hungarian applicants are welcome, the project is open for in-country volunteering as well.
Your role
During the project, you will:
- deliver workshops and non-formal sessions
- support youth center activities
- teach English through interactive methods
- work with young people with fewer opportunities
- take part in community programmes and international activities
Where will you be based?
You will live in Szécsény, a small town in Northern Hungary, together with other international volunteers.
The town offers a calm environment with basic services and regular connections to nearby cities.
Who are we looking for?
You can apply if you:
- are between 18–30 years old
- are interested in youth work and non-formal learning
- enjoy working with children and young people
- are open to living in a rural environment
