Come and take part in our Youth Exchange: YES - Youth Engagement for Society" set up by the association Vir'Volt in France.
The Youth Exchange is organized around how young people across Europe are or can be active to create a more sustainable future, fight for human rights and citizenship and stand up against rising far right tendencies :
exchanges and workshops onpoliticial participation, youth initiatives, citizenship
exchanges on how to take interculturality into account in societal issues, fight for more equality and sustainability
sharing your experinces, ways of political participation and modes of action
helping in a ecological youth project with ecoconstruction with wood
And all this in a group composed of several young people from other European countries at Vir'Volt!
You will live in a community and will actively participate in the organization of the days that will be divided between workshops, activities and animation sessions on youth participation, political engagement, anti-discrimination eco-citizen practices, interculturality, etc. as well as taking care of the collective life of the camp ( cooking, cleaning, food shopping). Collective responsibility for cooking and daily cleaning tasks are at the core of our eco-village project and might differ from some other "all inclusive" youth exchanges.
We will also share moments with the citizens of the city as well as information about mobility and different cross border solidarity activities that exist.
