International Youth Exchange in Hollókő, 9–19 December 2025
Organized by the Egyesek Youth Association, a special, festive opportunity awaits young people: for ten days, they can learn, create, and experience the magic of the holiday season together in an international community. The project, “Glee it up! – The Holidays Special”, focuses on performing arts, self-expression, and the joy of community.

Aim of the program
The program aims to bring together 30 young people from 5 different European countries to discover how music, dance, theatre, and storytelling can bring more joy, creativity, and community spirit into everyday life.
Essence of the program
Over the course of ten days, participants will explore the power of the arts in an international community: how music, dance, theatre, and storytelling can support self-expression, community building, responsibility, and joyful togetherness.
Participants will have the chance to try out different forms of expression (singing, music, dance, drama, storytelling), create holiday-themed projects, and work in both small and large groups where everyone can find their place and contribute their own ideas to the growth of the community.
The program conveys the message that art is not just entertainment but also a tool to build community, express ourselves, and bring joy to others—especially during the holiday season.

Who can participate?
The program is open to everyone aged 16–25 who is interested in music, dance, theatre, or any form of performing arts, and who would like to spend ten days in an international community with peers from across Europe. Participants should be open to discovering new cultures, especially holiday traditions, making new friends, learning more about themselves, and joining a program that is both fun and enriching.
No previous experience is required—but if you have any, that’s also highly valuable: musicians, dancers, actors, or creative performers can contribute a lot to the group work.
