Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you believe in the power of stories, art, and connection? Then this youth exchange is for you!
The color of exile brings together young people from across different backgrounds to explore what it means to move, belong and live in a world shaped by migration, privilege, and diversity.

Through workshops, group discussions, and creative expression, you’ll get the chance to:

  • Develop critical thinking by reflecting on personal experiences of migration, privilege, and discrimination
  • Gain a deeper understanding of global politics and how it affects freedom of movement
  • Grow social skills like empathy, curiosity, and open-mindedness by sharing and listening to powerful personal stories
  • Boost your creativity in hands-on art sessions and co-create a public mural that will leave a mark on the community

With creative and non-formal education techniques, we will reflect on our personal stories with a critical mind and, by sharing them, we will further grasp how these personal stories are influenced by the global political system. To enrich the experience, it is thus very important that this exchange’s participants come from very diverse backgrounds.

In addition to the creative approach, the project will include other types of workshops to help us learn more about our personal relationship with the project’s theme:
• Moving debate
• Role-playing
• Story-writing and telling
