Youth Work Workshops

A series of professional workshops in Hungarian for professionals who work with young people and would like to improve their skills.

Application

As professionals working with young people, we believe that continuous development and lifelong learning are essential to staying up to date. In order to effectively reach, engage, and activate young people, we have developed a series of three professional workshops. We warmly welcome all professionals who work with young people and want to do their job more effectively. Let's spend three Wednesdays in April together, not only to catch up with young people, but to get ahead and help them realize that their voices matter!

About the workshops

An important part of Egyesek's Erasmus+ Accreditation 2025 is to develop youth work and organise informational activities at a national level. In the first phase of our "Számít a hangod!" initiative, we met with 61 young people and youth workers in 7 regions to map out where and how young people are. The second phase of the project consists of three half-day training sessions, where we will discuss our results and work together to develop in topics that will take our outreach to young people to a new level.

  1. Youth work online - Social media workshop, where media experts will help you learn how to communicate with young people authentically. As a practical exercise, we will learn the basics of making street videos and how to use them effectively.
  2. Youth work together with young people - This practical workshop helps you to authentically engage young people, activate them, and build communities that remain motivated in the long term.
  3. Youth work in schools - This workshop uses practical tools and tried-and-tested methods to help you learn how to work with established (class) communities and how to lead understandable, engaging, and developmental processes with school groups.
