Econet - You didn't come this far to stop
How to hook you in a few words to sign up for our first YE of the year? No clue... We just know how to take advantage of the natural resources of one of the most biodiverse areas in the country, showing you places you'll never find on your own and introducing you to different ways of self-exploration with local experts from the region.
As it should be, the main character of the experience is you, and all you need is motivation to face the project we designed for you. We've come up with a fresh way to understand and interact with the environment in a sustainable way. After all, if you don't know it, you can't truly enjoy it—and worse still, you can't treat it with the respect it deserves.
We challenge institutions, collaborate with organisations, and are committed to teamwork. Join a project that aims to explore what it means to interact with and respect the environment. Then draw your own conclusions.
Objectives of ECONET
- Understand, interpret, and analyse the natural landscape and its natural resources in the local area
- Fostering motivation and the development of non-formal environmental education
- Fostering cultural exchange by bringing 35 youths from 5 different countries
Profile of participants
- Hungarian residents
- between 18 and 30 years old
- able to communicate in English
- available for the full duration of the youth exchange (no late arrivals or early departures!)
Finances
The youth exchange is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program, all program costs, food and accommodation are fully covered by the organisers. Travel will be reimbursed up to 309 €.
