This Youth Exchange aims to bring together people from different social and cultural backgrounds to create a community, learn to live and work together, get to know each other and share their own experiences in a spirit of respect and tolerance. To achieve this, the young people will learn through non-formal education, prepare their own meals, do the housework and organise their activities. Supervised and accompanied by a trained team, they will experience interculturality.
The project allows participants to:
- Experience 2 weeks of intercultural communal living;
- Develop their initiative and entrepreneurial spirit;
- Improve their self-confidence;
- Learn to express their ideas effectively;
- Develop their ability to work independently;
- Develop intercultural awareness and empathy.
About the program
Step 1: Discover & Connect
During the first days, we will focus on getting to know each other and creating a positive and supportive group atmosphere. Through intercultural games, discussions, and participatory workshops.
Step 2: Explore & Exchange
You will work in international teams, bringing together different perspectives and ideas. Together.
Step 3: Create & Share
Building on the ideas developed during the exchange, you will collectively create a shared outcome that reflects your vision of utopia.
Participants' Profile
We are looking for young people, who are...
- 15-18 years old;
- Hungarian residents;
- enthusiastic about personal development, cooking, teamwork and cultural exchange;
- and fully available during the youth exchange (no late arrivals or early departures!)
