Seeds of Solidarity 3.0 is a max. 10 months long-term ESC volunteering project:

  • Where you will be working with 8 fellow international volunteers in a rural area of Nógrád county, in north of Hungary
  • During the project you will be working in different locations, such as local schools, youth centers, an elderly home, and in Egyesek own youth and community center. You will deliver English-speaking, non-formal education sessions for children and youth with fewer opportunities.
  • Project dates: 01/09/2024-31/05/2025

You can participate flexibly! You can arrive from June 2024 and stay for a minimum 2 months or more. We can still host you!

The project is co-funded by the European Union through the European Solidarity Corps program. There is no participation fee. Volunteers will be accommodated in shared rooms in a big family house in Szécsény. Each volunteer will receive 6 EUR/day pocket money and 4 EUR/day food allowance as well. The evenings and weekends will be free to explore the city or travel to Budapest. Travel expenses from your home country to Szécsény will be reimbursed according to the distance (mostly 275EUR budget).
