As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to manage our communication and community-building activities as part of our team in Hungary.
Help us to promote opportunities for youth (training, workcamps, ESC projects), and our activities, and take care of our social media management and external relations, as well as lead community building events.
Start date is from June 2024 and the project lasts for 10 months (May 2025).

- Create and execute marketing strategies to promote Egyesek's training and volunteering projects, and find participants/volunteers for upcoming events.
- Ideate, create, and post content on Egyesek's different social media platforms to promote youth work and volunteering, reach a wider youth audience, and increase brand awareness.
- Assist with the delivery of Egyesek's international youth worker training and volunteering projects by communicating with different partners, handling logistics, and supporting trainers and team members, preparing and organizing follow-ups for volunteers.
- Participate once a month (2-3 days) in our youth work in Szécsény, with a group of fellow ESC volunteers, where you can create content about the project (photos, videos, interviews, etc.)
- Communicate with partners, participants, volunteers, and clients.
Our participants will contribute to our mission, and create equal opportunities for children and youth to increase the quality of their lives and will even support our Seeds of Solidarity international volunteers in the Szécsény microregion.
The project is co-funded by the European Union through the European Solidarity Corps program. There is no participation fee. Volunteers will be accommodated in a private room in a rented flat in Budapest. Each volunteer will receive 6 EUR/day pocket money and 4 EUR/day food allowance as well. The evenings and weekends will be free to explore the city of Budapest. Travel expenses from your home country to Budapest will be reimbursed according to the distance (mostly 275EUR budget).
