We are proud to announce that we have reached another milestone with Skills Builder, after several years of collaboration. This year, two of our programs have been accredited on the Skills Builder Impact Directory, where you can find many reviewed programs from the partners of Skills Builder.
The Skills Builder Partnership includes 600 schools and colleges, 200 impact organisations and 100 top employers - working collectively towards the mission that one day, everyone will build the essential skills to succeed. Our work is underpinned by the Skills Builder Universal Framework, which shows how to build essential skills at every stage of life. These eight skills are: Listening, Speaking, Problem Solving, Creativity, Staying Positive, Aiming High, Leadership and Teamwork.
This fall, Egyesek participated in the Global Impact Fellowship program, where we worked on introducing and integrating the Universal Framework of Skills Builder in the local youth work, in Nógrád county. The session plans and training program developed during the program will be first introduced to the students of Szent Imre Catholic Elementary and High School in Balassagyarmat. We trust, that soon we will be able to develop the 8 essential skills with our other local partners as well.
Our other accredited program is ProfessionalED, our strategic project focusing on increasing the quality of youth work and non-formal education and thus the recognition of youth workers and youth trainers. During the high-quality training programs implemented by the project, we introduced Skills Builder and supported the participating youth workers in reflecting and developing based on the 8 essential skills.
