Workcamp leader

Try out yourself in leading a group and help make a camp an unforgettable experience.

Apply

We are looking for camp leaders for our international volunteer camps. If you would like to try out yourself as a group leader, to work with young people from abroad (groups of 8-15), to help local communities, and to gain new experiences and skills this summer, then this opportunity is for you.

What is the role of a camp leader?

Camp leaders are responsible for coordinating and keeping the volunteer team together, liaising with the local host organisation, helping to build team spirit, and being there for volunteers if any problems arise. The work will include the following tasks: preparation of free time activities, facilitation of team building games and feeling meetings, the guidance of the camp participants regarding working and organizational issues.

Camp leaders will be prepared by our staff members in all aspects of their own camp, including site visits, getting to know the local partner, etc.

This is a volunteering opportunity too, where accommodation and meals are provided during the programme and travel expenses are reimbursed. A certificate will be issued to the camp leaders at the end of the camp.
