Birth of Image is an 18-month project where young people develop their active media literacy.

The main goal is to develop visual and media competences, critical thinking about accessing and consuming media, and the knowledge of producing media. The activities are based on intercultural cooperation, focusing on media tools, the role of media in the life of youth and youth work, as well as personal and social development.

The Citizen Visual Workshops is a new media training developed by trainers in and outside of the Synergy Group, focused on expressive and quality visual media. The workshops will empower the participants to explore video making, story telling and expression with guidance and feedbacks from media trainers and professionals. The aim is to use audiovisual tools, to develop technical skills and to express yourself. We will be working with learning by experience method.

The Citizen Visual Response is an explorative conference and practice on social media. The participants will meet professionals engaged with social media, flash mobs, media ethics and innovative new media. The program consists of lectures, urban media practices and screenings of media productions by non-professional youth. The aim is to practice critical thinking, develop the habits of inquiry and skills of expression that are needed for effective communicators and active citizen’s in today’s world. This activity combines formal learning with learning by experience method.

We are happy to welcome you to the RE:MEDIA Workshops and Conference in Hungary between 13-17 and 18-22 September 2010. Egyesek Youth Association and the partnership of Birth of Image invite participants from 5 countries for the international media training and conference. Participants are invited to join both the visual workshops and the conference OR only one of them.

International Exchange “Listen To My Hands- Media For All”

We invited 4 countries (Hungary, Latvia, The Netherlands and Greece) to meet in the international exchange “Listen to My Hands- Media For All” in Agios Nikolaos, Halkidiki, Greece. It’s a  Basic SYNERGY Training.

The theme of the training is social inclusion and personal development through the use of Media. In this project both Deaf and hearing will be able to participate and in many parts of the training interpreters will be used in order to translate from spoken English to International Sign Language and vice versa. We intend to create bridges of communication between hearing and Deaf, while raising Media awareness of the youth and promoting equal participation in the Media for Deaf and hearing, regardless of origin. During the training we will use a variety of indoor and outdoor games combined with audiovisual tools (e.g. foto-camera, video-camera) so that you will have the opportunity to develop personal skills and to express and explore yourself. You will have the chance to learn how to use (audio)-visual equipment to create messages that are meaningful to you and to share these messages with others. We will be working with the “learning by experience” method.

A képzés célja civil szervezetek munkatársainak szakmai fejlesztése, szervezetek belső fejlesztő folyamatainak támogatása a szervezeti hatékonyság és fenntarthatóság növelésének érdekében.

A képzés a SZERVEZETEDRŐL és a TE SZEREPEDRŐL szól, konkrét példátokon keresztül a projektmenedzsment és a szervezeti menedzsment aktuális kérdéseiről.

Fontosnak tartjuk, hogy a megszerzett tudást megtanuld alkalmazni saját szervezetedben, így leszel képes megerősíteni és fenntartani tevékenységetek alapjait és hátterét. Nincs két egyforma közösség - ezért zajlik a gyakorlat valós fejlesztő tevékenységgel, saját szervezetedben, csoportodban.

Mindez 2 részben történik: 5 nap tréning és 6 hónap szakmai gyakorlat.
Módszerünk az élmény alapú tanulás egy speciális irányzata, a tréning, a coaching és a folyamat-tanácsadás ötvözete. Gyakorlatra, cselekvésre épül, ugyanakkor ismereteket is ad. Egyformán figyelünk rád és a csoportra. Közös a program és a téma, közben saját szakmai célodon dolgozol.

Event Wise training

The International Synergy Group trains individuals to function better in society. In the Synergy training, participants work on their personal development (relationships, parenthood, balance in life, etc.). We work with learning methods that follow the natural human behaviour, which work in the same way like learning to walk, taste, feel. We call it learning by experience.

Communication with yourself and others is essential to get out the maximum of this training. In the Synergy training we learn how to benefit from experiences in our life in an enjoyable and dynamic way.

During this training we are provided with tools, which we can reintegrate in our personal or professional life.

The training deals with vital questions, such as: what do I want to do with my life? How do I cope with events? How do I build up good relationships, both in private life and in work situations? How do collaboration, self-confidence, parenthood, love, self-expression and other aspects that determine my personal growth make up the framework of my life?
Training will first of all focus on actually experiencing one’s own way of doing things.
The next step is to explore alternative possibilities to function in society in a satisfying way.
